"I must follow the people.  Am I not their leader?"
- Benjamin Disraeli

As a former manager, and an owner of a twenty-five year old successful consulting business, I teach from experience.

In my work as a consultant and faculty at GE's John F. Welch Global Leadership Development Center (Crotonville), I've taught courses, globally, for over 10,000 leaders in the areas of Leadership, Performance Management and related topics.  At GE, and with other clients, I design and deliver dynamic, engaging and well researched sessions focused on:

      • Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-i 360)
      • Employee Engagement
      • Goal Setting
      • Giving and Receiving Feedback
      • Coaching and Counseling Direct Reports
      • Appraising & Reviewing Performance
      • Situational Leadership
      • Confronting Performance Issues
      • Executive Presence
      • Business Presentation Skills
      • Developing Your Team
      • Leading Change
      • Managing Conflict
      • Leading with Resilience
      • Managing the First 90 Days of Your New Job
      • Positive Power & Influence
      • Social Styles
      • Career Development

In addition to my training and development work at GE,  I've organized and led numerous GE Work-Out™ Town Meetings, and facilitated senior teams in the GE Change Acceleration Process™ (CAP).  Through these initiatives, the participating businesses were able to document sales growth, or cost savings, in the tens of millions of dollars.

"As a faculty member for our leadership courses, I know I can always count on Allen... I'm impressed with his dedication and level of preparation.  He has a special knack for relating leadership content to fun facts and current events that resonate well with participants. Whenever I have time, I love sitting in on his classes because I always walk away a better person."
